This weekend Peg and I met Dr. Calvin Lee and Dr. Tammy Wu from Modesto. They are a very pleasant and friendly couple. We are extremely happy to have met them and to call them our friends. If you or anybody you know are looking for trusted and talented surgery work please give them a call. I've listed their website information below.

Another Ultrasound Picture

Here's another ultrasound picture that I didn't post before. You can see his hands in this one. It looks to me like he's sucking his thumb.

Here's the link to the first ultrasound post and many more pictures:

Baby Names Part 2

I got some more baby name suggestions. Recently I've gotten a lot of suggestions from Steph, both Steph L. and Steph C. More recently Steph L. has been extremely generous with her name suggestions here are a bunch below:

"if you ask me, any one of these could be the name of a CEO. :)" - steph l.

kayvin (rhymes w/ maven)
edwin
marcus
ethan
martin
david
andrew
joshua
chanandler
christopher
jackson (to satisfy that chinese need to name their kid after an american president)
evan

some spanish names, i like the fusion:
emilio
carlos

Ennis
Alton
Aidan (I like this one)
Arliss (I don't really like this one)
Dorian
Kayvan (sounds like cave-on, perhaps you'll find this more palatable than kayvin)
Anson
Lucas
Bryant
Brent
Dean
Ilan (the name of the winner of top chef)
Peyton (it's superbowl sunday)

Thank you, Thank you for all the suggestions.

Tristen - I liked this name but it was vetoed by Peg because she thought it sounded too feminine. The name can actually fit a male of female with a variation in spelling. It is of Latin origin meaning strong.
Preston
Prescott
Dragen
Draven
Druce
Dryden
Jalen
Jaylon
Jenner
Jevon
Zsigmond - It is of Hungarian origin meaning prosperous defender.

Iraq for Sale

When I started watching this movie I was a little skeptical. But it got better as I kept watching. A lot of it is already known but I write about it now because I don't think it should be forgotten. After watching it all the way through it reminded me of the fact that the Republican leadership of the past few years was either incompetent or corrupt. I, like most people are relieved that a new Democratic government has been voted in place. Let's hope that it makes a difference. Watch your representatives. Don't let this happen again. Please take time to watch the movie all the way through.

The whole movie:

Super Bowl Commercials

I missed the super bowl and most of the commercials but I found these online and they made me laugh out loud. Please let me know if there are others that I missed. You can leave a comment by clicking on the "comment" link at the bottom of this post.

Side note, because I find these two commercials humorous it is not an assertion that I am inviting a slap in the face or a kiss on the lips by my male friends.

Grandpa's Name Suggestion

My dad, who I now call garandpa, sent me the following email. When I
first read it I thought "What?!" But then he clarified and then he sent a follow-up email. Read the emails below.

Email 1:
-------------------
Theo Wan-Tzai Cheng, or more americanized Ceo Onetri Cheng
also ask Chinese expert to explain Wan & Tzai
(do be serious on this name)
Happy grandpa
-------------------

Explanation: I told my family that the name had to sound appropriate if he were to become a CEO. So that's the inside joke. After reading the "do be serious" part I got a little worried because although it was a clever name I didn't feel it was appropriate to make my son a living advertisement for my company.

Email 2:
-------------------
Sorry, made a mistake
(DON'T be serious about this name)
Baba
-------------------
It was a relief to get this second email because I wasn't too fond of "Theo" either ;)
